The Evans Bros. family business has been in operation since 1870 and we sell apples and cherries at wholesale. We hire about five workers during the cherry season and another thirty workers during the apple season. General labor work consists of pruning and trimming trees and some usage of machinery (like a tractor or cherry shaker).

The season begins with tree pruning in the month of April and lasts through November. Cherry season starts in July and runs through the middle of August and apple season begins in September and ends in November.

Workers average pay is $8.50 an hour but they could earn up to $12-$13 during the apple season. We do provide approved housing that can house up to 35 workers. We also pay unemployment benefits and have workers compensation for our workers. The units have a washing machine but no dryers. There is migrant head start and health services nearby for workers convenience.
