The Mick Farm has been farming for about 30 years. We harvest sweet and sour cherries in July. We also harvest some pears and apples that run from September to October.. Other positions available besides picking are general labor, tractor driver, tarp pullers, shakers and pruners which can work year around. We employ anywhere from 10 to 12 workers for the apple season and 5 to 6 shakers for the cherry season. We pay $10.00 a box with a possible bonus at the end of the apple harvest and $7.40 an hour for pruners. Our farm does provide approved housing for families or single units; however workers are required to pay some of the utilitiesThere is a washing machine available and migrant education is also available during the summer season.
