We have been in the farming business for over 30 years in southwest Michigan, with our farm consisting of 300 acres. We grow apples, peaches, plums, asparagus, grapes, zucchini, rhubarb, pears, and cherries. During the year we hire 14 seasonal workers to do a variety of jobs such as planting, harvesting, and Packing House work.

Our season starts in April and goes through mid or late October, with our apple harvest that begins in July, being our last crop to harvest. Our wage rates are the following: asparagus harvest $.18 per pound, apple harvest $.55 to $1.25 per bushel, zucchini harvest $.80, all are guaranteed at least minimum wage.

We have approved housing in 3 units (trailers) in family units. We charge $5.00 per week per worker for utilities, with a laundry room provided at the campsite. There is day care available with busing near our housing facility.
