Our peak season is from March thru May; however, we maintain a work force of 50 people all year long. During our peak season we employ around 100 people.

Our general laborers will fill containers, plant, water, maintain plants, and help package flowers that are shipped through-out the Midwest. We also have skilled trade personnel that assist in the growing process, supervising and order processing.

The pay rate is determined by either the employee's years of service or the responsibilities of their position. Everyone's pay rate is above the minimum wage

Medical and dental insurance is available for all the full time employees. We have different plans available for single households and families. Also, every employee is covered by workers' compensation insurance. Meiring Greenhouse and Farms does not provide housing, however there are many rental units near our farm in the Monroe County area.

There are many migrant services in the area; housing assistance, daycare, health care, etc... Many people on our staff are bi-lingual and encourage translation assistance. Meiring Greenhouse and Farms is a friendly place to work. We treat our employees with utmost dignity in a family atmosphere.
