I'm a small operator with 5 acres of peaches and 6 acres of asparagus. I only hire workers during peach harvest for 3-5 days total of work for 2-4 people in late August or early September. I provide product to both fresh and process markets. I do not provide housing. Anyone who works for me must have his or her own housing. I do carry Worker's Compensation Insurance and will help with housing expenses if I hire for the asparagus harvest season (6 weeks).
