Du Russel's Potato Farms Inc. The Du Russel family has farmed in Michigan for five generations.
Starting with 300 acres and today harvesting over 2000 acres. Currently
the farm produces the following crops: green onions, red radishes, spinach,
curly mustard greens, flat mustard greens, turnip tops, collard greens,
kale, beets, cilantro, soup dill, curly parsley, strawberries, oats,
soy beans, field corn, wheat, yellow-white & bi-color sweet corn,
dry onions and Michigan round white potatoes. This family operated organization
employs 100-125 migrant employees that hand-harvest the summer crops
and six to nine local employees to process potatoes. There are four
licensed camps in the surrounding area where the migrant employees are
housed. The farm also has some functions that must be operated all year
